Snowshoes

The modular design makes it easier to replace the bindings with an old pair of running shoes. They weigh less and cost less than Northern Lites, but not sure if they'll fall apart. I heard about them on a blog. A husband/wife team swears by Dion, so maybe they're pretty good. They certainly are affordable.

I think the design/price/materials is very competitive with NorthernLites

Neither of these brands is available in stores. Unless I find a bargain on a used pair of race-worthy snowshoes, looks like I'll be buying one of these.
